Автор: Аtiqur Rаhmаn Аhаd, Sоzо Inоuе, Guillаumе Lореz Издательство: CRC Press Год: 2024 Страниц: 457 Язык: английский Формат: pdf (true) Размер: 21.9 MB The book discusses topics such as action recognition, action understanding, gait analysis, gesture recognition, behavior analysis, emotion and affective computing, and related areas. Sensors and cameras are exploited for the analysis and recognition of human activity and behavior. In the book Human Activity and Behavior Analysis: Advances in Computer Vision and Sensors, we have divided across two volumes, 40 wonderful chapters under five parts: Part 1: Healthcare and Emotion (Chapters 1–7), Part 2: Mental Health (Chapters 8–14), Part 3: Nurse Care Records (Chapters 15–26), Part 4: Movement and Sensors (Chapters 27–36), and Part 5: Sports Activity Analysis (Chapters 37–40). In a complex problem such as stress detection, the application of some type of Machine Learning (ML) algorithms makes sense. The vast amount of data in a context where multiple variables, such as HR, HRV, GSR, and ST, might have different outputs based on each other, makes it a prime target for the ML approach. Some of the most common classification algorithms are Support Vector Machines (SVM), K-Nearest Neighbours (K-NN), Random Forests (RF), Decision Trees, and Naive Bayes (NB). The data processing and model development used different Python libraries such as Pandas, Tensorflow, and Keras. To recognize stress from the physiological data, we tested different Machine Learning algorithms. We implemented the approach using Python and the Scikit-learn library. The Human-Machine Interface (HMI) industry has witnessed the evolution from a simple push button to a modern touch-screen display. HMI is a user interface that allows humans to operate controllers for machines, systems, or instruments. Most medical procedures are improved by HMI systems, from calling an ambulance to ensuring that a patient receives adequate treatment on time. This book describes the scenario of biomedical technologies in the context of the advanced HMI, with a focus on direct brain-computer connection. The book describes several HMI tools and related techniques for analyzing, creating, controlling, and upgrading healthcare delivery systems, and provides details regarding how advancements in technology, particularly HMI, ensure ethical and fair use in patient care. The upcoming trend in the digital era is the trust and increasing confidence in Machine Learning techniques to improve almost all areas of life. Machine Learning techniques can be widely employed in the hospital management system where a continuous storing of medical data from various sources becomes a vital facilitator for Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning-aided treatments and diagnosis. Автор: Inаmuddin, Таriq Аltаlhi Издательство: Wiley-Scrivener Год: 2023 Страниц: 510 Язык: английский Формат: pdf (true) Размер: 51.5 MB The second edition of Biosensors Nanotechnology comprises 20 chapters and discusses a wide range of applications exploited by biosensors based on nanoparticles including new domains of bionics, power production and computing. The biosensor industry began as a small, niche activity in the 1980s and has since developed into a large, global industry. Nanomaterials have substantially improved not only non-pharmaceutical and healthcare uses, but also telecommunications, paper, and textile manufacturing. Biological sensing assists in the understanding of living systems and is used in a variety of sectors, including medicine, drug discovery, process control, environmental monitoring, food safety, military and personal protection. It allows for new opportunities in bionics, power generation and computing, all of which will benefit from a greater understanding of the bio-electronic relationship, as advances in communications and computational modeling enable us to reconsider how healthcare is offered and R&D and manufacturing are enhanced. A field effect transistor (FET) is a device found in solid state in which the electroconductivity of the semiconductor placed between the source and drain terminals is regulated by a third electrode gate and an insulator. The eBook is a great price offer to you and this eBook provides a practical hands-on learning experience to the engineers, technicians, students, and hobbyists who are curious and eager to learn and make an electronic project on their own. The project in the eBook explains all the project relevant topics in a simple and descriptive manner for you. In addition, lots of electronics project-building stuff included in this eBook which makes it easier for you to build an electronic project. By building these electronics projects boost your skills and analytic power rapidly to a great level and has been used in thousands of applications and is extremely popular. The circuit will detect or sense when the water will come in the municipal water supply pipe and switch ON any alarm or water pump. The circuit is using two transistors and few other discrete components and can be operated with any voltage from 5 Volts to 12 Volts DC. It is essential to use the same voltage relay as the operating voltage as if you are operating the circuit with 5 Volts then use a 5 Volts relay or on 12 Volts use a 12 Volts relay because a 12 Volts relay will not be work on 5 Volts operating voltage. The two points marked sensor should be placed at the mouth of the municipal supply line. Infrared Sensor Using Opamp IC LM324: Build and Learn Electronics

Название: Biomedical Signal Processing: A Modern Approach
Автор: Ganesh R. Naik, Wellington Pinheiro dos Santos Издательство: CRC Press Серия: Biomedical Signal and Image Processing Год: 2024 Страниц: 294 Язык: английский Формат: pdf (true) Размер: 10.2 MB This book presents the theoretical basis and applications of biomedical signal analysis and processing. Initially, the nature of the most common biomedical signals, such as electroencephalography, electromyography, electrocardiography and others, is described. The theoretical basis of linear signal processing is summarized, with continuous and discrete representation, linear filters and convolutions, Fourier and Wavelets transforms. Machine Learning concepts are also presented, from classic methods to deep neural networks. Finally, several applications in neuroscience are presented and discussed, involving diagnosis and therapy, in addition to other applications. Biosensors are considered a special sub classification of biomedical sensors: a biological recognition element, such as a purified enzyme, antibody, or receptor, that acts as a mediator and provides the selectivity required to sense the chemical component (usually referred to as the analyte) of interest, and a supporting structure that also acts as a transducer and is in close contact with the biological sensing sensed by the biological recognition element into a quantifiable measurement technique. Автор: Aharen san Издательство: Independently published Год: 2023 Страниц: 214 Язык: английский Формат: pdf Размер: 15.1 MB We will see how to interface BM e 280 sensor with STM 32. This sensor can measure the temperature, pressure and relative humidity. I have written a library for it, which I will upload on the GitHub and you can get it from there. As we progress along the project, I will also explain the code and how you can write one yourself using the datasheet. The library covers a lot of things, but there are still few things which you need to manually implement. So watch the project carefully as you might need to make changes in the library based on what requirements you have from the sensor. This is the datasheet for the device. Here I have highlighted few important things that I will cover in today's project. I will leave the link to this data sheet in the description. Let's start with cube ID and create a new project I am using STM 32 F 103 controller give some name to the project and click finish first of all I am enabling the external crystal for the clock. The blue pill have eight megahertz crystal on board and I want the system to run at maximum 72 megahertz clock. Enable the serial wire debug. The sensor can use both the eye to C and SPI for communication. You can use either of those but I am going to go with the eye to see enable the eye to see interface and leave everything to default.
