Название: Electronics: Analog and Digital Автор: Ваrun Rаусhаudhuri Издательство: Cambridge University Press Год: 2022 Страниц: 708 Язык: английский Формат: pdf (true) Размер: 76.9 MB Analog and digital electronics are an important part of most modern courses in physics. Closely mapped to the current UGC CBCS syllabus, this comprehensive textbook will be a vital resource for undergraduate students of physics and electronics. The content is structured to emphasize fundamental concepts and applications of various circuits and instruments. A wide range of topics like semiconductor physics, diodes, transistors, amplifiers, Boolean algebra, combinational and sequential logic circuits, and microprocessors are covered in lucid language and illustrated with many diagrams and examples for easy understanding. A diverse set of questions in each chapter, including multiple-choice, reasoning, numerical, and practice problems, will help students consolidate the knowledge gained. Finally, computer simulations and project ideas for projects will help readers apply the theoretical concepts and encourage experiential learning. The topics of electronic devices, circuits and systems are broadly classified into two categories: analog and digital, as is also specified in the CBCS curriculum. Maintaining the recommended topics, the subject matters are reorganized so as to facilitate the students. The first introductory chapter outlines briefly the evolution, significance and widespread applications of electronics. Since semiconductors take major part in the fabrication of electronic devices, the subject learning starts with the basic properties and types of semiconductors, electrons and holes, concepts of energy band and effective mass and current transport phenomena (Chapter 2). Chapter 17 presents a brief sketch of the basic principles and architecture of a modern computer and explains in detail the programming technique for Microprocessor 8085. A brief idea is given on Arduino microcontroller system.
Название: Mastering Digital Electronics: An Ultimate Guide to Logic Circuits and Advanced Circuitry Автор: Нubеrt Неnrу Wаrd Издательство: Apress Год: 2024 Страниц: 505 Язык: английский Формат: pdf (true), epub (true) Размер: 32.1 MB Discover the essential knowledge and practical skills to excel in the dynamic field of digital electronics with "Mastering Digital Electronics." From the fundamentals of diode resistor logic to unraveling the intricacies of TTL and CMOS logic gates, this book takes you on a journey through the evolution of digital electronics. Starting with the humble SR latch and progressing to the revolutionary JK flip flop that powers today's computer technology, you'll gain a solid foundation in binary arithmetic, Boolean algebra, and the representation and optimization of digital circuits. The book gives a firm understanding of digital electronics, then moves on to using standard design methods, such as state diagrams, to design everyday logic circuits such as counters, shift registers, PISO, and SIPO registers. It delves into how to design some challenging digital circuits such as a crossroad set of traffic lights with a pelican crossing and how to use the 555 timer to control a variety of applications. At every stage of the book, you will be learning how to use TINA version 12, an industry standard ECAD and many of its functions. Moreover, the book ventures into using the software to simulate and so confirm all the circuits you design.
Название: Basic Circuits of Digital Electronics: English Translation of the German Kit Booklet Автор: Вurkhаrd Каinkа, Juеrgеn Рintаskе Издательство: Independently published Год: 2023 Страниц: 125 Язык: английский Формат: pdf Размер: 18.0 MB This booklet is describing an unusual package and approach. When I saw this Franzis kit on Burkhard Kainka‘s website, I was surprised how simple such a kit could be. I asked Burkhard and Franzis, if I can translate and publish the documentation into English, so an additional readership worldwide can take advantage and learn using this kit for the non-German community, which was granted. The German title was too general for me, and I wanted a name that described the functionality. Everything is defined via the jumpers, which you could compare with the routing of a Programmable Array. So the name was clear. JPTS = Jumper programmable test system. The board is pre-soldered with SMD components, but a few parts have to be soldered in by you. If you have no experience, ask around your neighbouts who can help. After this first setup, no further soldering is required. Please be careful that you put the 2 headers on the top side where the writing is, and the other parts the right way around as in the description.
Название: Electronics for Physicists: An Introduction (2nd Edition) Автор: Bryan H. Suits Издательство: Springer Год: 2023 Страниц: 340 Язык: английский Формат: pdf (true), epub Размер: 25.5 MB This book provides undergraduate physics majors and students of related sciences with a sound understanding of basic electronics and how it is used in the physical sciences. While today few science students go on to careers that demand an ability to design and build electronic circuits, many will use and rely on electronics. As scientists, they will require an appropriate level of fundamental knowledge that enables them, for example, to understand what electronic equipment is doing, to correctly interpret the measurements obtained, and to appreciate the numerous links between electronics and how it is practiced and other areas of science. Discussing electronics in the broader context and from the point of view of the scientist, this book is intended for students who are not planning to become electronics specialists but who will use electronics. It has been written in a relatively informal style and includes many detailed examples, as well as some “outside the box” material, including some ideas from quantum computing, to inspire thought and creativity. A selection of relevant exercises is included at the end of each chapter. The book includes three broad categories of electronics. Chapters 1–5 cover passive linear electronics, Chaps. 6–11 look at nonlinear and active devices including diodes, transistors, and op-amps, and Chaps. 12–14 consider the basics of digital electronics and simplified computers.
Название: Digital Electronics: Principles and Applications, 9th Edition Автор: Roger Tokheim, Patrick Hoppe Издательство: McGraw-Hill Education; Год: 2022 Страниц: 647 Язык: английский Формат: epub Размер: 23.2 MB Digital Electronics: Principles and Applications, Ninth edition, is an easy-to-read introductory text for students new to the field of digital electronics. Providing entry-level knowledge and skills for a wide range of occupations is the goal of this textbook and its ancillary materials. Prerequisites are general math and introductory electricity/electronics. Binary math, Boolean concepts, simple programming, and various codes are introduced and explained as needed. Concepts are connected to practical applications, and a systems approach is followed that reflects current practice in industry. Earlier editions of the text have been used successfully in a wide range of programs: electronic technology, electrical trades and apprenticeship training, computer repair, communications electronics, and computer science, to name a few.
